ゲシュタルトの祈り・パールズを超えて

あなたは一人じゃない
だれも一人じゃない。

いま、あるがままを受け入れ
自分がコントロールできることだけをひたすらやる。

あなたがいること、わたしはちゃんと知ってるよ。

こんな想いに心を動かした言葉を思い出しました。

一つは、パールズというドイツの精神医学者が書いたもの。
パールズは、ゲシュタルト療法という心理療法の創始者で有名です。
パールズは、事務所で、毎日この詩を詠んでいたといいます。

もう一つは、パールズの弟子のタブスが、師匠の詩に返して書いたものです。

ゲシュタルトの祈り

わたしはわたしのことをやり
あなたはあなたのことをする

わたしはあなたの期待にこたえるために、この世にいるのではない　
あなたもわたしの期待にこたえるために、この世にいるのではない

あなたはあなた、わたしはわたし　

もし、出逢うことができたらそれは美しいこと　
もし、出逢うことがなくてもそれもまた、美しいこと。

パールズを超えて

『ゲシュタルトの祈り』を受けて、パールズの弟子が書いた詩がまた心を打ちます。

もし、わたしはわたしのことをして
あなたはあなたのことをするだけなら　

お互いの絆も自分自身も見失う危険に立たされる。

わたしはあなたの期待にそうためにいるのではない。

でも、わたしが存在するのは、あなたがかけがえのない唯一の存在と確認するため。

そして、わたしもあなたからかけがえのない存在として確認してもらうため。　

お互いにふれあいがある時のみ、完全に自分自身になれる。　
あなたがいるからこそわたしがいる。

わたしとあなたとの出逢いは偶然ではない。

能動的に求めるから、あなたとの心のふれあいが生まれるのである。

受け身的に事の流れに身を任せるからではなく、

意図的に求めるから、心のふれあいができるのである。
